We fished The Bluffs yesterday (myself and a friend of mine visiting from Colorado) from about 8am to 1:30pm.  Crazy wind, so it took some time to figure out how to work certain areas and get the right presentation. With how strong the wind was blowing we had to tuck in on the northern shore a little bit, as well as the NW and NE corners of the lake.  But we found a solid reaction bite from 9:30am to Noon on fish to 6lbs (my buddy’s largest Bass Ever – Pic below).  Chartruese/White Spinnerbaits and Raybrun Red, Red Eye Shads did the trick, with the Red Eye Shad producing that largest fish at 6lbs. Spinnerbaits around the wood, and the Red Eyes around the rock.  We had 9 fish on the reactions baits. Then for the last hour and a half we fished 7” Divine Shakey Worms in Nirvana.  That produced 6 fish to 4lbs.  All the Bass were fat and healthy, just one dink in the group (came on a Red Eye).  The Pond King Pro boat was great to fish out of for the two of us.  I’ve got another reservation coming up here next week and I can’t wait to get back out on The Bluffs.  Great property.
