The wife was working this weekend so I got the itch to fish. I wanted to stay close to home so I booked SW Lake again two months later. I caught 6 in January and 12 on this trip. I was excited to improve the catch this go around with bigger fish. Got out there around 130 pm and fished to 7 or so. The water level is back up. The water clarity was maybe 1’ at the dam and very stained on the opposite end. Water temp started around 63 and warmed to 67 degrees. I caught all fish on the east shoreline and the dam. They were on the brushpiles as well as in 1 ft of water. I dragged plastics as well as the chatterbait from the edge of the shoreline to get the bites. I was unable to catch any fish on the stained side on the south end. Anyways I ended up catching a couple of 4# and one up to 5#. The others were 1- 3#. Thank you SW Lake owner and PWF!
