Pam and I fished Shady Grove on Friday. It was a cold, slow start, but picked up as it warmed. We landed 35 up to 3.6 with at least 4 over 3 and several at 2.5 to 2.75 along with some shorties. You have to present something weedless and be prepared to haul them out. Caught most on shad colored flashy swimmer paddletail and shad colored swim jig with same trailer. Also caught one a soft jerkbait and one blowup on a buzz frog. Fun property with lots of shoreline to cover. Simple fishing without all the boat gear, etc. We found the quality and quantity was best in lake #1. Also the owner, Sammy, came by in his tractor to check on us and ensure we were having a good time. Y'all should check it out!
