Lures Used : Red trap, 5" swim bait, wacky, weightless sinko, jerk bait

Caught the first a 4lb on a red trap at the far end of the damn. Caught another 4lbers there too on a swim bait. Then fished the far bank and caught a 4.5 on a swim bait. Caught a couple more on a jerk bait down towards the end. Fished the side closer to the house with no bites and took a break. Ran the same line around the lake and caught 3 more solid 3lbers all on wacky. I thought the swim bait bite would turn on after 6PM, but the lake went glass and they just won’t hit it. Had to switch to a wacky fishing very slow. The weren’t biting right at the bank. Mostly out 20 feet or so. I didn’t see any real activity shallow and didn’t see any bed fish. Water was super clear at the damn, but not as clear at the far end. Last time I fished here. I caught most of my fish in the stumps at the far end, but that was. not very productive yesterday. Largest 5 were 18lbs though so I’ll take that any day. I missed a few smaller ones on the swim bait and twice they stole my wacky worm. Very rarely miss one on it, craftt little bastards.
