Lures Used : Chatterbait no real success. Baby Brush Hog no success. Spinner Bait fished deep with a pause in the retrieve and most fish would hit on the drop.

This is my first report so bare with me.  Reserved ½ day arrived at lake, my wife and I arrived around 1:15, on the water at 1:30.  We fished until aroung 6:30 when the front begain to arrive with light rain.  Pretty hard day of fishing, with some luck.  All of the fish in the 2-3 pound range just at 15” so did not remove from the lake.  All of the fish were caught were up on the creek side of the lake in shallow water 2’-3’ deep on spinnerbait (orange). I guess probibly pre-spawn as most fish had swollen bellies with eggs.  Caught one fish on a chatterbait (black and white) but the bottom has alot of hydrella, so I quickly moved to the spinner bait.  Look forward to fishing this lake in the summer with some top water lures.  The concret boat ramp is nice to load and unload boat. Oh and we did not see the otter!
