We got on the water at about 8am with a chilly 37 degree air temp that lasted a couple hours before heating up. Wind was blowing pretty good and continued to pick up throughout the day. Water temp was 51 with very low visibility. We fished until about 3p before calling it a day. We caught 7-8 fish, a couple 3’s, couple 2’s, 1.5, and a couple smaller harvest bass and one decent crappie. We threw a wide variety of lures from chatterbaits, spinners, billed and lipless cranks, plastics on c-rig and wacky, swimbaits, buzzbaits, and I’m sure there are some I’m missing. We never really developed any siginificant pattern today, tried them deeper, shallow, around brush, dam, dock, channels, we made about 10 rounds and couldn’t really figure out what they wanted, probably a little less wind and a few more warmer day. The fish we did catch were very heatlhy and they fought hard! My son found one by the drain and one by the feeder and all the others were caught on the south west (I believe thats right) opposite side of the boat dock, down along that side going away from the dam. The dam or the opposite side had zero activity.
