Son and I fished from about 12:30 to 5 PM. Light variable winds, clear sky and 55 F. Immediately started catching fish trolling dam and never stopped. My son’s first fish was 21- inch bucket mouth. He proceeded to catch over a dozen more in two hours. He was using a black and purple seaducer he tied that morning and never threw another fly the rest of the day. I was using an olive/grizzly meat whistle. Most productive spot was in the trees under the overhead lines but we caught fish all over. Subtle eats but nice fights and all very healthy fish. I finally switched flies late to a half and half and caught a half dozen more fish late. Only a handful of fish all day were dinks. Just a perfect day all around!
