Great day at the Bluffs. Water temp 53 but very windy. This place will only get better. It has tons of areas for spawning and lots of forage. It has produced many bass already over 8 lbs and even more fat 3 pounders that are only going to get larger. Every bass we caught was very healthy and aggressive. But, we did have to work hard for all our catches after the first two. We started the morning after 8 and had both 7.5 lb bass by 9 am. After that, we had to change bait and tactics often to squeeze out one 3 lb bass at a time. It may have been the water temp that caused us to work so hard. But, it was all worth it and we will be back to try again.
