I had a fun day at Heartbrand Ranch on March 3, 2022.  The weather was great (clear and mid-70’s).  Arrived at about 10 am and fished until 4 pm.  I caught a total of 16 bass fishing from the bank, using plastic worms and sinkos.  Red worked best.  The fish were all between 2 and 3 pounds, healthy and generally good fighters. The bite was sometimes very light, but consistent throughout the day.  Caught one bass near the dock around 10:30 am and I then moved east toward the fish feeder and the nearby point.  I caught the majority of fish near the point and moving to the narrow strip at the southeast end of lake (on both sides of the surrounding banks).  Heartbranch is a beautiful property and a great place to spend the day.
