We fished Blue Rock Lake yesterday afternoon.  It was a tough few hours.  The wind was blowing at 17 – 18 mph and the water was cold, which I did expect.  But I hadn’t seen the wind in the forecast.  The wind made boat control difficult and bites were tough to come by.  The fish we did see were solid, footballs.  I might go back here later in the Spring.  I heard on the video for this lake about the grass edge going all the way around the lake, I guess I was thinking it might’ve died off some in winter.  Nope, there’s a thick ring of grass and moss coming out at least 7 to 10 feet all the way around the lake.  I’ll defintiely come back in the Summer and do some Frog fishing here.  Cool little lake with easy access.
