Made my first club outing since getting my membership last week to Hat and Star. What a pretty lake and property. I fished from 9:00 til about 5:00. Fish were feeding on the massive schools of Shad almost all day. Moving baits were what worked best for me. I tried a jig and drop shot around the timber but didn't have luck with that. First time using an Alabama rig and it worked great. I really thought I was going to catch a hammer today but never did get that really big bite. I will be back!
