Decided to get out on the water and test out my newly rigged out kayak. I had a great time on the water getting used to the new kayak but nothing was biting. I got there a little after sunrise and the water temp was 46 degrees. Winds were blowing 7-9 MPH with blue skies. I found the fish hunkered up in the center of the lake sitting around 9-14ft. I threw everything at them I had in the tackle box but not one strike. After the freeze and the cold front that rolled in the night before they wernt too interested in anything I put in front of them. Great property friendly clows and 8 mules that seemed to be enjoying the morning. Great property and I’m sure it will be excellent once the water temps rise a bit.
