Fished from 12 to 5:30 on a blue bird afternoon in the middle of February with air temps in upper 70s with winds around 15 mph. Didn’t have my depth finder so no water temp reading, visibily was under a foot. Caught one bass under 3lbs and a crapiie that was returned. I’m losing my confidence with back to back trips with very little to show. I need a therapist. Warmer water which will be here quickly will cheer me up.

Keep your head up. This time of year is feast or famine, often inside a very narrow window. Fish will be moving up soon and back to a more regular feeding schedule.
We fished yesterday on a similar lake, and caught 90% of our fish inside a 1 hour window and in one very specific spot, and it was really a last resort play (the only other thing I could think of type deal).
