February 10^th, Sunny, 70 degrees, slight wind out of the south, water temp 53 degrees

I took a fellow member out for some sunny day bass fly fshing. We launched at 2:30 and had our first bite by 3 PM. Lee was casting a black streamer and caught 7 up to 2.5#. His nephew was using a spinning rod and picked up a few more on a red Rat-l-trap. Most oif the fish were caught in the trees near the north end of the lake. The bites were very subtle, which was expected with the water temps.

Overall it was a great afternoon and nice suprise for February. I’m looking forward to fishing again when the temps warm up!
