Was a great afternoon to be out on the water.  Air temp in the high 60’s, very little wind and blue bird skies until clouds rolled in late in the afternoon.  Water temp was 48 degrees.  Mike and I caught three.  Biggest was 4 ½  and one at 2 ¾ and a 2.  Two were caught on a medium sized Ned rig and one on a shacky head.  All were caught out in the middle down towards the dam in 5’-7’.  As mentioned in posts from last fall the lake level is still down 3 to 3 ½ feet.  The shore area around the launch area was very muddy and made launching and recovering our two small boats challending.  Tara is a great lake and has produced a bunch of great bass for us in the past..
