Temperature range for the day was 33-42, water had a slight green tint with visibility up to 3 feet. Started mid-morning and saw several shad balls in shallow water along the dam when I launched the jon boat. Went back and forth throwing both shallow and 6-8 foot shad pattern baits without a single bite. Fished down the east side to try and find a bite, but nothing again. Using the depth chart on the PWF website, I covered the deepest sections of the lake with suspending lures then bottom contact rigs. Electronics might have helped get a few, but I don't have my own boat yet. 

Knew the fishing would be tough, came prepared with all the usual suspects for cold water bass fishing, and just couldn't get them to bite. Oh well, you know the old saying, “The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad."
