A nice day for celebrating bass fishing on the Jordan.  Caught 25, returned all but one.  At least 8 were over 3lbs with the largest at 4.7lbs.  5 good sized crappie to boot.

Ned rig produced the majority.  A few on super fluke, drop shot, lipless crank, chatterbait, spinner bait.  Plastic colors were in variations of green to black.

Fished from 9AM to 4:30PM.  All fish caught in 6 – 10 feet of water (the deepest water is 10 feet).  Water Temp 52.  The deeper water is between the dam and the island on the western side (away from the house).  The wind was a factor.  We would start on the west side of the island, drop a heavy anchor and then let the wind blow us to the dam.  Rinse and repeat.  There’s little if any structure and no weeds.

The pontoon is very roomy.  It has a trolling motor, just add a battery.  After entering the main gate you’ll see the lake and pontoon to your right.  There is another red iron gate on your right just after you enter.  You get to the lake and boat via that gate.
