I fished Hickory Creek on 12/31 with my nephew.  We had a difficult start finding the fish but when we did we were pleasantly surprised by the larger fish sizes.  We fished from 10AM -3PM.

We got into a school of 2 ½ -5 pound bass out in the middle of the lake and had a ball catching these aggressive fish.

The weather was warm and windy and the lake was probably 3 feet low but still very fishable.

We had a good chat with the owner, Wade, and his daughter. 

All in all it was a great way to end the year!
