Fished the PM slot at Dog Leg on 12/30. Caught 2 over 4 pounds, lost one at the boat estimated at 6-7 pounds and culled 37 undersize, all on unweighted Senkos in Watermelon and Junebug. Lake is a few feet low, but still looks good…..new boatramp is REALLY nice.

Thanks for harvesting. We have a very committed landowner who wants to make the lake even better. But, we have to remove 700 bass in 2022 to get the lake in balance to justify adding thousands of dollars in bait fish. 37 fish is a great harvest. Adding bait fish to a lake that has too many small fish is like throwing out 10 XL pizzas to hundreds of teenage boys and expecting them to leave a bit of food for grandma. The little fish hog all the forage and don;t leave much for the big fish. When we reduce the amount of small fish, it leaves more and more forage for the remaining fish. These fish now have a chance to get big!!!!
Last year we did have member and guest that removed 95 in one day of fishing.
