I fished a half day PM.  As noted in previous reports the water is quite low.  I thought with the recent rains it would be higher.  I have had a lot of good luck fishing this property from the bank and since I was going to by myself thought I’d just bank fish it.  That proved difficult given how low the water was.  When I would try to get close to the water line I’d sink in the mud – the pull your boots off mud.  That caused some frustration but it was such a beautiful day and I still managed to catch 24.  Nothing huge with most fish being in the 2-2.5 pound range.  All fish were caught on a chatterbait or fluke.
