First time at JerMar since April. The water level is noticably down. I estimate from 18-24 inches low. Fished the big lake. First fish was where the pipe goes under the road. Caught a 1 pounder on a yellow magic popper. Tried fishing from the dock for about 10 minutes. Nothing. Took boat out and tied off on large stumps in middle of the lake. Fished all directions and caught 3 casting to the west. Wind picked up about 9am and not even a bump after that. Fished the north end, the 2 inlets on the west side and up near the north end. Fished the dam for about 30 minutes at the end. Not even a bump. Water clarity is good. Vegetation is still a problem. Picked up vegetation on almost every cast. Repeat, picked up vegetation on almost every cast. Gorgeous day to be out even though fish were not real cooperative.
