0% Percipiation Until Very End Of Day

You Couldn’t Have Asked For A Better Weather Day After Forecast All Week
Predicted 60 To 80 % Rain Chances.

The Morning Started Off With Back To Back Grand Explosians At First Light
Within First 15 Minutes
In The Grass At The Boat Ramp.
Tossing A Magnum Fluke An Popping It On Top Through The Weeds
Nailed The 4Lb+ On A Massive Blow Up
And Quickly Followed Up By A 3Lb+..
Jeff Had Arrived And Hit The Water About 07:30
He Apparently Had Done His Homework And Went To Work
On The Main Ridge Line In The Center Of The Lake..
That Strategy Paid Off With His Best Ever Bass  Weighing  In At  8.65 LBS
On A Fluke  In Approx 15 Ft Of Water.
I Continued Working Around The Lake About 25 Yards Out In About 10 To 18 Ft Of Water Picking Up A Fish Here & There
Seems As Though The A.M. Aggressive Bite Did Not Last Very Long..
At Lunch Break We Visted With The Property Owner
Shared A Couple Of Cold Ones And A Couple Of Stories, He Is Always Very Friendly & Helpful..
Break Over !
Back On The Water,  I Think It Was His First Maybe 2nd Cast
Jeff Nailed The 7.02 LB  Fish On A Falling Chatter Bait
Again On The Ridge At About  The  12 To 15 Ft Depth…
After That It All But Shut Down For The Day..
As For Jeff,  He Didn’t Catch But 3,   1 Perch And The Other 2 Bass
But If You’re Only Going To Catch 3
You Couldn’t  Of Asked For A Better Trio Than That..
Congratulations Jeff Cavitt  On Your New Bass Record, That Was A Day Of Day’s
And Now It’s Gets A Bit Harder Breaking Your Next Personal Best,
But That’s Why We Do It ..

Lines Tight &
Stay Fishing My Friends..

Nice report and thanks for posting.  We're there still a bunch of battered and bruised shad floating / swimming on the surface?

Thanks for the report Scott. Way to go Jeff – talk about quality over quantity! Those were footballs!

Congrations Jeff. What a great day of fishing.

I also love the weight of these fish. The owner has spent over $10,000 in forage in 2021 and you can see it, in the bellies of these bass. Incredible looking fish.
