Jim Collins (my guest) and I fished Rock Chimney yesterday (September 23).  It was a beautiful day, with a slight intermitten breeze and low humidity.  Water temperature was 77 degrees in the morning when we arrived.  We fished from 9 am until 3:30 pm with little success.  We used everything in our tackle boxes and fished all areas of the lake from our kayaks, but we only managed to catch one 14 inch bass using a red plastic worm.  In spite of the slow fishing, we had a very enjoyable day.  It was a great day to be outside in our kayaks.  We also had the opportunity to have a nice chat with the land owner.
