Got to briar branch at 7:30am and the kids had caught four bass from the long narrow point before I could get the boat in the water. Once we were in the boat we landed another right off the point by the large tree stump in the middle of the lake. As the morning went on the weightless TX rig was the top lure landing most of the fish from 1lb up to several 2 ½ lbrs. Tried the wacky rig, jig, popper and underspin with no bites. Best colors were green pumpkin and baby bass
