I fished with fellow PWF member Hans Hodell. We hit the water at 7:15 and got to witness an amazing sunrise. This lake has everything you could dream of… rocks, timber, laydows, grass, etc. Our best action came from fishing frogs along the thick matted grass close to the bank which covers about ½ of the lake. Very few small fish were caught, most were in the 2-4 lb. range. I think we boated 8-10 fish but hung at least another dozen or so. As you know if you fish frogs alot, the hook up ratio is 50% at best…even lower when fishing in thick grass and heavy timber. This place is extremely picturesque and well worth the price of admission. We will be back when the weather cools!!!
