Had a great morning, caught 25 from the bank up to 4lbs!  First fish on first cast on frog and the other 24 on an epic-bait 5 in stick worm, thanks to Dale Stagg for the samples, I am sold 😀.

Friend and his son also did well from the boat, his son caught his first ever crappie and bass…and then upped his PB three times, gotta love it!

There is a mat of coon tail around the edges but the lake is VERY fishable from all spots.  In addition to my pics from this morning also posting a pic of owner’s son who caught a nice 6 liber along with a lot of other fish a few days ago.

How was the grass in the upper end? Fished this lake twice, first time in April you could get up the little creek. When I returned in June(ish) it was thick. I love this little lake, it has some great fish in it.

Thanks Scott for the review and happy Epic Baits (www.epic-bait.com) worms worked great for you. I am getting into flukes in addition to worms now also. I myself fish worm most times as I love the tap tap of a fish using the worm.

Would be very interested in flukes Dale – can’t wait to see what you come up with.

Saw you had some already – ordered a few different ones – really like the color scheme of the bb bass and sunfish

It is clear enough to get into the little creek now, the tip of that creek is matted but not too thick.  Very fishable and the fish are very active and healthy.

The Sunfish was special designed by a bass pro locally to my area. He swears by them and said he has won multiple tournaments on them. Hope all of them work well for you.
