Went to BB for the afternoon and di my thing:

1. The main lake is choked – in a span of 4 weeks, the weed growth has limited the fishing area to maybe an acre.  I couldn’t find a lane to get the boat through so I didn’t bother.  I could have paddled past it and fished that little area, but elected against it.
2. Instead I fished the valley from the bank. Didn’t get in the water but temp was around 90 I think, high visibility, wind out of the E/SE. Used a magnum spook and a frog and managed 4 on the spook and several misses on the frog iver milfoil mats. 
3. I caught 2 HSB’s and 2 LMB – one of the HSB’s was fairly large (still don’t have my scale) and both fought very hard.
4. I missed a few more HSB’s on the magnum, they just can’t get over the whole bait, but the smaller version wasn’t getting strikes. 
5. days are getting shorter, before I knew it, the sun was about to set, so I headed out.
