First time on this property for me.  Beautiful setting and lake.   Found the water clear of any weeds while the brush around the perimeter is showing summer growth.  Not only was I fishing the lake on a very warm day I was also evaluating my new Sea Eagle inflatable kayak.  Fish found scattered all across the lake.  All look very healthy.  Very little breeze so the surface was glassy about half the time.  All but one of my catches was outside the slot limit.   A good day considering August timeframe.   Will fish again as the weather cools.
