Fished Black Hat with fellow member Ryan Herrington. We knew the wind was going to be tough going into the day and our assumptions were not off. Really didn’t get to fish the entire lake as we needed to anchor and fish an area for 15 mins or so before moving on to another spot to try our luck. Best spot over by the islands. Landed 15 LMB with the largest at 4 lbs. Had 5 dinks and the remainder were around the 2 lb range. Despite the wind, we caught some fish, saw some deer, a bald eagle grab a fish out of the lake, and had a great time at this beautiful property.
