Wife and I fished Flying J on Saturday morning.  Wind was blowing when we arrived at 6:30 and really blowing when we left at 10.  Going to have to upgrade from my 30 thrust trolling motor, as it didn’t have have the power to buck the wind and get us all the way back to the south end launch area.  Had to pull to the east bank behind the barn and go get the truck.  Didn’t fish the south half of the lake as the grass and wind made it pretty miserable, however, the wind had the fish stacked up on the north end at the dam. Most were dinks, but did put back 10 fish with 3 fish at 2.5 – 3 lb.  Probably had another 15-20 get off that would follow the bait to the boat, short strike, and come unhinged when we lifted them out of the water.  Had a great air show above the Sherman Airport when a stunt plane was practicing manuvers.  Pretty impressive. Will be back on a calmer day.  Met the owner, really nice guy.
