I fished here for the first time about a month and a half ago. Most of the lake was fishable with there being a foot or two of grass all the way around the lake. Now, I’d say about half of the lake is accessable. If you’re putting in a boat, launching can be difficult since where the ramp is, it is solid grass. My uncle and I had to pull the trolling motor where it was just barley out of the water to get to and from the ramp. Now the fishing, like another member has said there are parts of the lake where you can fish and this is true. I caught 5 or so fish on a jerkbait and didn’t too many problems with grass you just have to stay in the right spot. The remainder of my fish were all caught on TX rigged lizards either in the first foot of the grass or right on the edge of it. My uncle had some luck on a Pop-R and whacky rigged sinkos. We caught fish anywhere from about the 10” range all the way to good healthy 18-20” fish. There are great fish in this little lake, I just think that most of them were deep in the grass and we couldn’t get to them.
Side note, bring some bug spray. The grass on the bank is pretty high and both my uncle and I got bit by chiggers.
