Fished with another member Tuesday morning. The water visibility was 18”,tea colored, and the lake was easing over the spill way.Caught 42 bass of which 17 were removed. The largest was 3 ½ lbs. We fished mostly with tx rig worms/yum dingers either weightless or a 1/32 oz wt. White, christmas tree,red shad and wat/green worked the best. I used a popping bug here and there and picked up a dozen bream and four bass.

An alligator swam by me toward my friend on the other side of the lake. He did not believe me but when the ranchers wife started hollering he paid attention and saw it.It was not a huge gator but large enough to eat the geese that the rancher trys to keep around. We had seen a lot of large feathers at the launch area that would have been a goose dinner for the gator.
