I fished Lost Creek with a guest yesterday from 6:30am to 3:30pm with lunch break(Shepherd has new cafe). The bite was slow.  It was very still early and we tried topwater and frogs to start, ZERO action.  We went down the lake to the south and lots of grass along banks.  What we did catch was coming off the grass with Tx rig, but that didnt realy happen until about 9 am.  We finally circled back past boat lunch and found a few good fish at the dam about 10:30 am.  What a beautiful lake and I will try again, and if you wanted some good bream/perch action for youngsters, this lake has them.  

I really suggest you have your own boat/kayak with electronics to find the fish and the structure in the water.  We used the club boat (very nice), but locating fish was tough.  It was hot at 93 degreees by early pm, hence we gave up a little soon.
