Had a fun time at Beaver Lake, even with all of the grass in this lake.  We caught eight bass in the four hours that we fished, and had another 4-5 that got off the hook right at the boat.  We used soft plastic bandito bugs, trench hawgs, senko's to catch those fish.  We switched over to frogs when the sun began going down and the frog bite was so much fun.  I have never caught a Bass on a frog but I am determined.  I had two fish get off right at the boat on a frog, and one of them was a good sized bass.  I would estimate it to be in the 4-5lb range.  

This lake has a ton of grass all throughout it and is a challenge to fish, but that is what I like about Bass fishing.  It is a good place to work on different skill sets, and the fish are in there!
