Fun day at Black Hat.   Took my youngest son and a buddy fishing.  Had to fight the wind all day but it was worth it.  Crappie were biting better than the bass today. All of the crappie were at 9 feet deep by dam.  My son caught a 7 pound catfish on a white senko worm, he almost went in the water fighting it.  He was so excited to catch it, he is still talking about it today.  Few 2 or 3 pound bass by the boat dock and glass line by island.   Grass by island is growing up fast n thick.  Has a great time and great place to fish. Spoke to land owner,  very nice landowner.
