First time out to this property. It is a beautiful piece of water. I fished from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm or so. I missed more than I caught. A lot of the fish would run up and slap at the bait but wouldn’t commit to really taking it. I caught fish all around the lake. 11 of them were under 14” most were 1.5 to 2 lbs. with the largest going 4 lbs 2 oz. Water was a little high and visibility was about 12”

When the wind would lay down a bit the most effective way to get bites was with the 5” Senko weightless Red Shad Laminate color either wacky or Tx rigged.

2^nd most productive was with a 4.3” swimbait on a regular jig head. the exposed hook helped with hookups and I didn’t have to fight the grass too much. 

In the evening the whopper plopper was great at locating fish but out of 10 blow-ups, I think I only hooked 2 or 3. I would have to follow up with a popper-style topwater to hook up.
