Fun morning at Flying J – Got there at about 7:30 and fished for about 2 ½ hours through on and off rain before the hard rain was too much to handle. Caught 22 and culled 14. Definitely large numbers of fish. Water was very clear. The bite was consistent, although mostly small fish. With the impending heavy rain, I did not use the boat on property and elected to bank fish. Unfortunately, due to high weeds/grass surrounding the lake and heavy moss/weed growth within the first 10-15 feet from shore, there were very few spots to bank fish effectively. Caught fish largely on wacky worm and buzz bait. Although I did catch a few on a frog acorss the weed beds. I will definitely go back when the wetaher is better.
