Member Rick Waldrop and I made our first trip to Deer Trail.  Lots of grass, but also lots of fun working baits into holes and over the grass to get them to bite.  Never really established any pattern and caught fish all over the lake, with most at the edges of the grass mat.  Almost half of the fish were culls but we did manage to catch 3 five pounders.  Boat ramp is great.  Will be back.
