This was my first time to fish Camp Creek. Im not sure what normal pool is for the lake or how low it may have gotten, but from looking at the shoreline, it can still take on several feet of water. The lake level is sufficient to launch and fish for sure, but lets hope mother nature provides more rainfall! The property is beautiful and the wild horses keep you entertained watching them throughout the day.

Started the day at 0730, water muddy with temp 69. The wind was light until about 0930 and then pretty gusty the remainder of the day. After seeing previous reports about the fish being very selective in shallow water, I decided to focus on the 8-10 depth. The action was steady and we missed several fish as well. At different points in the day we did try the brush piles but the fish just werent there for us!

As always, thanks to PWF staff and landowners who make these experiences possible!
