Had a great day on the lake with the family. The lake was still low, even after some recent rains, and it was hard at times to stay out of the shallow weeds. But, had a lot of bites along the steeper slopes, on the edge of the weeds, using beetle spinners. Flukes had more luck in the shallower water, and only a few top-water bites. All bass were smaller, but can see the potential for bigger fish. Met the landowner while there, and he was very nice. The pavilion offers nice shade and views for lunch.
