Fellow member Ryan Herrington and I took our chance at one of those 7 pounders we hear folks catching out at AA. Water stained from recent rains with visibility to about 1.5’ Threw pretty much everything we had at them with limited success on TX Rig and Frogs over the weedlines. Not a ton of fish to report with only 7 landed but missed about equally as many on the frog bite. Those that were landed were very healthy fish ranging from 2.5 – 5 pounds and all of them had some very good fight to them. Fishing was on-and-off all day with bites coming in bunches and then nothing for an hour. Definitely will be looking to come back on a less windy day with a more predictable weather pattern. As others have indicated, Joe came out to meet us, tell us a bit about the property, and wish us luck. Great guy!
