Got to Twin Lakes a little before 7:00 AM not knowing what to expect after all the rain the last week, but the lakes were in great shape.  The day stayed cloudy with a light rain around 10:00 to 10:30 and a light breeze.  Started out on West Lake and it was a little slow.  No luck with top water but caught a couple in the weeds at the east corner of the dam.  After the light rain, started catching fish and it was steady from then on. The super fluke was the hit of the day.  Found the fish mostly in the weeds along the bank dragging the super fluke through the weeds and the edges.  You could sometimes hear them splashing back in the weeds.  Ended up with 13 nice LMB at the West Lake from 1 to 3.5 lbs.  Most were in the 2 to 3 lb class, fat with a lot of fight.  Lots of fun!  Around 2:30 moved to East Lake.  Caught 4 small bass on TX Rigg, Super Fluke, amd two on my fly rod, one a popper and a woolly bugger, but never really got it going on East Lake.  Pulled out around 6:00 after a great day.  Looking forward the next trip!
