The lake was full from all of the rain Friday. The water was a littile dirty from the run off, but not too bad. There is alot of thick grass as well as a few lilly pads starting to break through ….to me that says “frog time”. I immediately rigged two worm rods with frogs, one with a hollow body, the other a solid body ribbit. I made long cast to the clear spots in the grass beds so not to sppok any spawning females,  resulting in immediate blow ups. White seemed to work the best. We also picked a few on watermelon/red 4” Senkos. We ended up the day with 26+ ranging from 1 to 4½ lbs. Most were chunky males around 2- lbs. Great place to catch quality fish, we will definately  be back!
