When we got to the property we found the water to be chocolate. The secchi disk on the dock read the water at 6” clarity.  When I looked on the NWS it said McKinney got 1.3 inches on Friday while Sherman/Dennison got 1.24 inches. The spillway was flowing.   Tried chatterbaits, spinners, anything that was black or dark in color.  Got one on a ribbit and the balance on flukes.   The wind was howling with white caps so we stayed on shore to fish.  Beautiful day to be outside.  Jer Mar is loaded with wild flowers.  Oh well that is fishing, just another reason to book another trip.
