A friend and I fished Gallant Elm yesterday from 7 am until 12:30. 

The lake is very low, but still has a variety of fishable water.  Water is clear with lots of grass everywhere you look. 

We never found anything over 14”, but they certainly could be there. Of the 40+ that we caught, most were 10-12 inches.  Weightless soft plastics and spinnerbaits were the primary techniques used.

Yes sir we did and if the harvest minimums stay at 14” I may take a couple of folks down and fill the freezer later this month.
