Lures Used : Senkos, worms, crank baits, poppers, jigs

Fishing partner Vern and I arrived at Lake TCU at 7:00 to slick calm water (almost didn’t know what it was!).  First cast from the bank with a popper was rewarded with a nice 2-¾ lbs bass.  Threw the popper a lot after without any more bites on top water.  Caught 10 fish by noon and wind started coming up around 10:00, but not as bad as most of the rest of this spring.  Fishing seemed to improve after lunch and as temp warmed up a little.  Good fishing all afternoon and we called it at 5:00.  Missed 5 or 6 fish on jigs, but most action was on weightless Senkos.  Out of 28 fish, only 4 dinks.  All other fish were over 2.5 lbs with two 4 pound fish.  Another great day at Lake TCU!
