The old Deer Trail lake was one of my favorites in the club for years. I was very disappointed when the dam broke and we lost the lake. But the new lake has everything I liked about the old one but has a lot more fish! 

Steve and team have done an amazing job building a first rate bass lake. The lake is loaded with healthy, beautiful fish that are getting big fast. We got on the lake around 9:00 and wrapped things up 30 minutes before darkness.We ended up with 175 for the day. The biggest of the day went just over 5 lbs.

Over the next two to four years we are going to see a bass fishery in its prime at Deer Trail.
