Booked a day to get out with daughter Holly who loves to fish. I picked Nix Ranch/Lake TCU hoping that she would get on solid ish and we would have a great day catching. We had a super outing catching fish all over the lake. Previous reports indicated we needed to use plastics from the get go and we had our first fish within 15 min. using a 10 inch black/blue curley tail worm. Caught 38 over the slot up to 4.75 lbs. The fish were in water 5 feet or less, some were still on beds. This lake is a STAR!
