There was a storm moving in so we did not know how long we would get. On the water by 7:15 am.  There was a ton of algae bloom so anything thrown near the shore was full of pond salad.  We started using weightless zoom flukes and got several bites and several good fish.  1-4 pound class.  Out in the open water we threw crankbaits and rattle traps but it was not as productive.  It's a relatively big lake so without knowing where to go we covered as much water as possible.  The wind kept us from getting very far and when the lightening started we sat out for over an hour.  We will go back but I suggest two batteries and a strong trolling motor or a peddle kayak with a strong anchor system so you can get around better.  Beautiful property and good fishing.
