Arrived at Moonshine at 7:30AM.  First time to this property and was immediately impressed with how “bassy” it looked.  Tons of structure and stick ups everywhere.  It was another windy day, even on arrival.  Caught 4 fish including a 4.5 lb fish next to the dam in calm water near the bank.  Learned the hard way that a large part of the lake is covered with thick vegetation almost to the surface and is almost unfishable, but soon learned that tying up in the trees and stick ups helped immensly with the wind and that is where most of the fish were anyway.  Moved from one spot to another tying up each time and had good results.  Great property and we will be back!!  Finished with 33 fish with only 6 culls (anything under 16”).  4 four pound fish and 8 three pound fish is a good day anywhere!!! Left the property at 5:00PM.
